Changes to FAB’s Working Week

blue-banner

Following the UAE authorities’ announcement that government entities will move to a Monday to Friday working week, FAB confirms that we will support our UAE leadership in aligning with this change. Our new working week will ensure we continue to provide the best possible service to our customers and to our community.

From 3 January 2022, FAB offices will adopt a full Monday to Friday five-day working week. Our branches will be open six days per week, Monday to Saturday. Branches will be closed on Sundays.

As a FAB customer, you are not required to take any action. We will contact you if any of your FAB products or services require alteration to reflect the changes to the working week. Otherwise, the only change will be to business days for visiting FAB branches or offices. All services will continue uninterrupted, and FAB’s digital banking channels and ATMs are not affected.

The changes to the working week will better align FAB’s UAE operations with key global markets, while facilitating the best possible access to banking services as the broader UAE economy transitions to the new working week.

Please also note that new business days will be implemented so as to ensure continued, seamless business connectivity with other GCC and regional markets still using the Friday and Saturday weekend, with key functions also available Sunday as appropriate.
