FAB Oman started its operations in 1976 by opening its first branch in the Muttrah Business District. It aims to provide full banking services targeting the Retail, Elite, Commercial and Wholesale market segments. Since it opened, the branch has facilitated business between Oman and the world whilst servicing customers with personalised products to meet their individual banking needs.

FAB Oman currently operates a network of distribution channels and branches covering both residential and commercial areas – Muttrah since 1976, Al Khoudh since 2006, Al Khuwair since 2007, Sohar since 2007, Al Qurum since 2008, Salalah since 2009, & Al Buraimi since 2011. As well as the direct services offered through its branches, FAB Oman operates a network of ATMs & CDMs plus a 24/7 call centre and online banking service.

Business continuity management (BCM)

FAB is committed to safeguard the interests of its customers, employees, and stakeholders in the event of a natural disaster or if there is any major disruption that may affect the Bank’s business operations. Therefore, the Bank has established a Business Continuity Plan for its Banking Operations and Technology related procedures. The plan is designed to facilitate the continuity of critical business processes in the event of any disruptions in line with the guidelines issued by the Central Bank of Oman. Customers will be notified, through the bank’s channels, in case of disruptions in our services. Also, if any branch is closed, customers will be directed to the alternative branch.
