FAB Marks Fourth Year of “Aftir” Ramadan Campaign, Reaching Nearly One Million Beneficiaries Since Launch

Abu Dhabi, 27 March 2026‎: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s global bank and one of the world’s largest and safest financial institutions, has concluded the fourth edition of its flagship “Aftir” Ramadan campaign, supporting communities across the UAE.

Since the launch of the campaign in 2023, “Aftir” has reached one million beneficiaries across all seven Emirates, as well as Al Ain, through sustained collaboration with charity partners and community organisations nationwide. Now in its fourth year, the campaign continues to expand its reach, reflecting FAB’s ongoing commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive engagement.

Aligned with the UAE’s Year of Family, the campaign focuses on supporting families, with Iftar meals provided to households registered with official charities across the country. This approach distinguishes “Aftir” from broader Ramadan initiatives, which typically focus on individuals, by ensuring support reaches families in a structured and sustained manner.

Delivered in partnership with registered charities and community organisations, the campaign focuses on the preparation and distribution of nutritious Iftar meals to individuals and families in need across the UAE. Key charity partners include Zayed for Good in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Beit Al Khair Society in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, Sharjah Charity International in Sharjah, Al Etihad Charity Foundation in Ajman, and UAQ Charity Association in Umm Al Quwain.

The campaign is further supported by a range of national entities, including the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Police, the Department of Community Development, Emirates Foundation, Al Ain Club and Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.

Through the continued expansion, the “Aftir” Ramadan campaign reinforces FAB’s long-term commitment to social responsibility, community engagement and meaningful impact across the UAE.
