Abu Dhabi - 20 July 2026: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE’s global bank and one of the world’s largest and safest ‎financial institutions, is launching the Jaywan Debit Card, issued under the UAE’s national card ‎scheme, managed by Al Etihad Payments, and backed by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). ‎The card is currently available for domestic use as part of the national roll-out of Jaywan.‎

The Jaywan Debit Card offers customers a secure, reliable, and efficient way to make everyday ‎payments and access cash nationwide. Built with advanced security features, including 3D Secure authentication and Chip and PIN ‎technology, the Jaywan Debit Card supports secure online and in-person transactions. The ‎solution reflects FAB’s continued focus on delivering secure and reliable banking experiences ‎aligned with the UAE’s vision for a stronger national payments ecosystem and enhanced national ‎data sovereignty.‎
