Abu Dhabi, 16 December 2022: First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has appointed Rula AlQadi as Group Treasurer, responsible for overseeing Group Funding, Balance Sheet and Capital Management.
Rula brings to the role extensive experience, having joined the bank in 2005. In her previous role as Head of Group Funding, Rula was instrumental in transforming FAB’s funding profile through international and strategic deals.
Rula AlQadi, Group Treasurer at FAB said: “I am delighted to take on this role with all the responsibilities and opportunities that come with it. Our treasury division plays a pivotal part in the functioning of our bank as well as in ensuring that our clients have the potential to thrive. I look forward to building upon my experience in Group Treasury and other areas in the bank to ensure that FAB’s Group Treasury contributes towards the strengthening of our bank’s capabilities across strategic areas and that we maintain our excellent liquidity profile and efficient management of capital.”
Rula AlQadi will report directly to James Burdett, FAB’s Group CFO.
