About Chip and PIN

Your FAB credit card is equipped with an encrypted chip along with enhanced security using Personal Identification Number (PIN) to authenticate your transactions.

How Does It Work?

After generating your credit card transaction PIN, you can use your FAB credit card for any retail purchases at merchant Chip and PIN terminals worldwide

OR

The terminal will prompt you to enter your 4-digit PIN

OR

Your transaction will be authorised once the PIN entered is validated

OR

If a merchant outlet does not have a chip terminal, you may still use your FAB credit card by signing the receipt

OR

For cash withdrawal transactions at any ATM worldwide, please use the same Personal Identification Number (PIN)

OR

In order to keep your card safe, please ensure your 4-digit PIN is known only to you and is not shared with the merchant or anyone else

OR

If you hold multiple and supplementary FAB credit cards, individual cards must be activated and a transaction PIN should be generated separately from the primary cardholder’s registered mobile number
