Updated EMI calculation mechanism
First Abu Dhabi Bank now uses a standardised mechanism for calculating the monthly instalment (EMI) for NHL beneficiaries.

Terms and conditions
- The attached table contains the ADHA New EMI for NHL Customerspolicy however the policy applies exclusively to existing customers whose accounts were activated from 2016 onwards only.
- The EMI and related details will apply exclusively to the loan amounts specified in the attached table. Loan Amounts which are not part of the table are not included in the new EMI policy.
- The new calculation method is applicable to newly onboarded and activated customers going forward from October 2025.
- All the calculation methodology, EMI policy and criteria is as per ADHA policy and terms.
- The EMI tables for Single loans and Joint co-applicants must be referred to based on the whether it is a individual loan or the loan is joint with co-applicants.
- Postponed loans may have a different criteria.
- The policy only applies to the following:
- House construction
- loan/House demolish and rebuilding
- Loan/House purchase
- loan(Ready Villa)/Developer Loan
- EMI amounts are not considering the extra EMI amounts coming from deferments, rescheduling & restructuring.
- The EMI calculations are based on the total income (I.e: rents, business, etc) not on salary only.
- The reduced EMI is applicable as of the date of implementation in the system, there is no refund for any EMI that is already paid
