- You can follow up on the status of your request and benefit from the available services through the FAB NHL app, which provides easy access to information and updates related to your request.
What will you need to pay while your request is being reviewed
For the month in which the request is submitted, the due amount will be calculated and confirmed as part of the review process.
Requests are assessed individually
Each request is reviewed independently. Overdue amounts may be distributed over the remaining loan term or processed according to the approved mechanism, depending on the loan status and applicable controls. The new instalment amount is determined based on the outcome of the request review and the applicable terms and conditions of the bank.
If the request is approved: Your updated repayment plan and what happens after approval
If your request is approved, your overdue amount will be included in your loan balance and repaid through an updated repayment schedule.
- Please note that your monthly instalment will increase. Loan rescheduling distributes the full overdue amounts over the remaining loan tenor. Loan restructuring distributes them over the monthly instalments due during the last five years of the loan tenor, increasing the instalments during that period.
- The overdue amounts covered by the approval will be added to the outstanding loan balance, and the customer is required to repay them according to the amended and approved repayment schedule.
- Customers should be aware that this may result in changes to the instalment amount, due date, or repayment schedule to reflect the outstanding balance and overdue amounts as of the rescheduling implementation date.
If your request is not approved, here’s what happens
If you do not meet the screening requirements, the request cannot proceed. The request will also be declined if the required documents are not signed, or if it is not approved due to missing documentation. In each case you will be required to settle the overdue amount.
6- After rescheduling is implemented
Once the rescheduling starts
- The customer must ensure that sufficient funds are available in the account designated for repayment, as deductions will be processed in accordance with the bank's approved direct debit instructions.
- If the customer fails to pay the due instalments after the rescheduling is implemented, the bank reserves the right to take the necessary actions to collect the outstanding amounts in accordance with the applicable terms, conditions and policies.
- Default or irregular repayment may affect the loan status and the customer's eligibility to benefit from any future benefits, support programmes or exemptions, subject to the approved policies.
- All terms and conditions of the original loan agreement remain valid and effective unless otherwise stated in the approved rescheduling document or notice.
